Southbank

Was great to cycle along the southbank today. Loads of people were watching the world go by enjoying the sunshine. I particulary loved seeing one of those massive classical paintings that street artists create on the floor...from above. I think the painting is called Primavera but I can't remember which Italian master painted it. I also loved the water sculpture installation outside the National. Children and adults alike were splashing about intermittently being trapped and then released by jets of water. Beautiful, interactive, playful and charming....it ticked lots of boxes in my head. I loved hearing the occasional shreak as someone failed to move fast enough and found themself unexpectedly blasted with cold water!
