Lefty or Righty?

I love how optical illusions have gone high tech! The dizzy lady above is meant to be able to determine which hemisphere of your brain is more dominant. Apparently if she's turning anti-clockwise you are more of a left brain person; if clockwise, more right orientated. Most people tend to fall into the former camp. Or so some research says. Imagine the terrifying consequences of a test like this being incorporated into children's academic streaming practices!
I have no idea how the animation works but it's quite fun to try and make her change direction which is possible with concentration. I started off being anti-clockwise and then she went clockwise. Does this mean when I concentrate I become less creative?
For a fascinating insight into how our two hemispheres communicate watch this clip.

I went Clockwise to Anti-clockwise. Even registered the change, which made me think it was timed and fake. So i came back 5 minutes later and the same process happened.
My first thought: if it's key is to do with memory and edge definition. As in when the brain gets used to it, or has registered the detailing it defaults to the back-burner as it were.
My second, I think it's hokum. There is something weird in the perspective if you follow the standing foot. You look up into the figure slightly when it spins anti-clockwise. Maybe it is skipping frames and when it shows you the a certain centre frame you see it clockwise, and when it shows the you frame one to the left your eye is taken anti-clockwise and it skips the first frame on the loop.. . if that makes sense.
cool though.
enjoy your holiday. nice dress.
arrrgh. for a minute there i had it going one way then the other and then back again, and back back again by finding a point through the shoulder and leading arm where the brain registered the next frame as either clockwise or anti. There is a point if you can hit it or isolate it from which you can control the direction - i think. Hard to pinpoint. Dammit Theo i have better things to do ;)
