Too much fun

Having far too much fun to spend my time looking at a computer screen rather than out of the window. Probably won't blog all that much as a result. Seems to make more sense to live it rather than worry about how to tell it.

Suffice to say Highway 1 is just as good as you hope it will be. I've been running, jumping, hiking, scrambling and generally loving the rugged coastal landscape. I've swum in the icy cold Pacific ocean, eat mission style burritos, marveled at god's joke the Elephant seal, nearly crashed the truck on several occasions because of ridiculous highway switchbacks, watched condors sour overhead and been slightly disappointed when I saw that they resemble turkeys up close. I've meandered my way through Santa Cruz, Carmel, Aptos, Monteray, Cambria and today I'm heading inland slightly to San Luis Obisbo- apparently an amazing little Spanish town with a cool adobe monastery.

oh and I'm certain that the Kinks make for the best roadtrip soundtrack ever.
